Hi, I’m Jeremy — the heart behind Canine Connection.

My journey into dog behaviour started with a simple goal: to help people truly understand their dogs. After earning my BSc (Hons) in Animal Welfare and Behaviour (First Class), I realised how powerful science-based, compassionate training can be — not just for solving behaviour problems, but for building stronger, happier bonds.

My work with several dog rescue centres in the Debyshire and Staffordshire regions has given me a wide range of experience with dogs of all backgrounds and problems allowing me to work with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and stories — from rescue dogs finding their confidence to family pets struggling with anxiety or reactivity. Every dog is unique, and I believe in tailoring each plan to fit their individual needs and personality. There’s no one-size-fits-all here — just patience, empathy, and teamwork.

At Canine Connection, my aim is to make behaviour support feel accessible, kind, and effective. I’ll help you understand why your dog behaves the way they do and give you the tools to bring calm and confidence back into your home.

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll probably find me out on a long countryside walk, nose buried in the latest behaviour research, or spending time with my own dogs — who constantly remind me why I love what I do.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about training dogs — it’s about building real connections.
